Here is a breakdown of the five
districts along with an 8,000 seat minor league ballpark that would be built during the
first phase of the project, as approved by the NJ Sports and Authority board on
Monday, October 11, 2004. As of Wednesday, October 6, 2004, Mills executives revealed that about 1
million of the 2.2 million square feet of entertainment and retail space have been leased
to include:
140 foot indoor skiing dome is the signature attraction
Muvico Theater -- a 160,000 square foot Egyptian theme movie complex
Lucky Strike -- a 1930's-1940's style upscale bowling alley
It's Sugar -- a 36,000 square foot "city" with a 30-foot chocolate waterfall and
museum
Wannado City -- where children hold "jobs" from pilot to pizza maker
Balducci's --- a gourmet food market
House of Blues-- a 1,500 seat music and food venue offering Southern-style dining
A 5,000 foot long roof top roller coaster
Elle Pavilion -- a fashion runway and exhibition space run by the magazine
SkyVenture -- a skydiving simulator and vertical wind tunnel
