Getting Ready
At the race entrance, an information table was set up.
Runners were processed, received a bib number, ChampionChip and "T" shirt.
 
"T" shirts were given out to volunteers, runners and participating children.
Rest room facilites were provided.
Personal items were checked. Runners could return to remove items, but could not take
baggage from the area until departing the event.
Several water stations were located throughout the event.
Each runner's statistics were tracked and tabulated by computers. Registrants
were first entered into the computer based upon their entry form. The tabulating equipment
was set up at the finish line and checked to make sure that each runner's tag would be
automatically read by the computer.
Moonachie Volunteer Fire Department
was on hand to provide emergency and first aid services.
